Can I do the race in a trio?

Yes. Basically, we want to get as many people participating as possible and if you can’t find a full 4’s team or don’t want the solo experience, be our guest. We do not have a specific category and prizes to go with it but you can do it un-ranked. Everyone is still eligible for the draw prizes of course. If you are interested in finding a team however, just pass along an email and we can play match-maker. Let us know if you are a seasoned veteran and looking for a competitive team or are looking for a “fun only” group.

What is the entry fee?

It pays to register early! The early bird fee is $25 / person.

The fee on the day of the event is $30 / person.

The price does include a t-shirt so make sure you register early so we can get your size. Prizes are available to all category winners and those having their names drawn! (one prize per person, thanks!)

Can I use a mountain bike on the trail and then a road bike on the road?

No. We feel that part of the fun/challenge is to decide on what ride to take. The trail isn’t that long (2km) but there are a couple of sections that will be very slow on a road bike. Also, if it has been rainy the dirt track will be muddy. Check out the gallery for 2009!
