The 2018, 17th edition of the Mindemoya Classic was as near to a perfect day as possible! Once again, like last year it was a solo racer who broke the tape first!
Congratulations to the overall, fastest time winner: The solo “team” of Mike Banks who beat the beat the class to finish in 1:15 for the some 21.5 kilometres of our run, paddle and pedal triathlon!
*Ok, I think this will be the future theme…although my brother made a lovely ‘results portal’ on the website, my wife made a beautiful spreadsheet that I can upload and I don’t have to retype all of the lovely 68 participants’ names another time. Sorry Scott, wife and laziness wins!
Sorry for the delay! We hope to see you July 2nd in 2019 for the 18th, Mindemoya Classic.
The race now is now on the Facebook and the Twitter (@MindyClassic)
The Mindemoya Classic is a run, canoe and bike triathlon for singles or teams of two or four – do it as a relay or in the all or nothing endurance division. Whether you want to beat a personal time, beat a team of your friends or just finish your leg of the relay, the Mindemoya Classic has a challenge for everyone.
Register today for $25 per person or $20 per person if participating as a family. Race day registration prices are $30 and $25 respectively! Remember, teams of four need at least one member of the opposite sex.
Join us at the Government Dock on the morning the event, followed by a prize give away. Race-day registration is from 8:00 to 9:00 AM and the race starts at 9:30. *This event is supported by the Central Manitoulin Lions Club as part of its annual Homecoming Weekend.
